Larry started LMS in 1979. He began his educations at Queens College, transferring to Queensborough Community College and graduated in 1972. He worked at General Electric Medical Systems where he provided support on their patient monitoring and nuclear imaging equipment for 5 years. He earned his engineering degree at night at New York Institute of Technology and shortly after graduation in 1979 incorporated LMS. Larry always believed in building a great business that serviced his clients and gained their complete trust. For nearly 40 years, he has instilled those core principles in LMS. Larry is a father of 8 children, and 7 grandchildren. He loves spending time with his family and is an active runner, skier and hiker. Married 42 years to his loving wife who has been providing the accounting and financial services for LMS. He has passed daily management to his son in law’s Scott and Mike to keep LMS poised for another 40 years of growth.
Bobbie founded LMS with her husband Larry after the first of her 8 children were born in 1979. She has been operating as the CFO and handling all office management since 1996 and is credited with keeping Larry focused and on his toes for the past 42 years. She went to Queens College and graduated in 1977. Bobbie continues to keep a watchful eye over all business operations at LMS, but has started to focus more on her 7 grandchildren as she has passed on many responsibilities. She enjoys spending time outdoors walking, hiking and gardening.
Scott started at LMS in October 2007, when his father-in-law Larry took him sailing and hired him as the Director of Client Relations. Coming from a Real Estate background, Scott started to learn the business, but more importantly develop close relationships with LMS’ clients and ensure that they were 100% happy with the services being provided. While interacting with clients, Scott learned about their history with LMS, their business, and the role that IT played in growing their companies. These experiences provided Scott with information that continues to impact him everyday and has been crucial in his decision making process for both LMS and the LMS’s clients. In 2011, Scott was promoted to President of LMS, with Larry moving to the CEO role. As President, Scott understands running a family business takes someone that is completely dedicated to the company with a vision for the future, and that’s what Scott is for LMS, his employees and his clients. Scott recognizes that he has the absolute best team around him, which is critical in running a successful business. Scott loves his interaction with his clients every day, and enjoys meeting with new clients and forming new relationships. Scott is happily married with 3 children. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002, and still bleeds Maize and Blue. Along with spending time with his family, Scott enjoys playing golf and tennis and is always up for playing with anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Chris, an expert in IT support and consulting services for small and medium sized businesses, has been with LMS for the past 20 years – the last 5 years as EVP/CIO. Chris started out early in his career as a Network Engineer and has been providing support and consultative services for more than 25 years after completing his BBA in Information Systems from Hofstra University. His IT background goes way back to the good old days of dial-up Internet, white box computers, Novell Networks, and Windows 3.1. Over the past 25 years he has become a valuable resource for his clients acting as their own outsourced vCIO, moving them safely through the innovations in technology. He has been instrumental in developing value-centric and security-focused services for our clients. Born and raised on Long Island, Chris enjoys coaching his children in various sports as well as vacationing anywhere he can find a suitable wave for bodysurfing.
Vito has been working at LMS for over 30 years. He joined LMS in 1984 as a technician and progressed through the ranks to upper management, the position which he presently holds. Vito is a graduate of Vaugh College where he received an Associate Degree in Aerospace Avionics/Airframe and Powerplant. He later attended Suburban Technical School where he received his initial networking technical training. He is also certified in several Dale Carnegie courses and holds many vendor sales and technical certifications. His technical career started as a network technician at Driver Harris. Vito prides himself in his troubleshooting and analytical approach to solving issues and ultimate resolution. He is a proud father of two and a husband of 32 years. He enjoys Golf, Racquetball, and bowling and is a sports enthusiast.
Mark joined LMS in 2011 as a Network Engineer and was quickly appointed to his current role as Director of Support Services in less than a year. Mark oversees all service delivery and project management for our clients, providing strategic guidance while ensuring that our team of Network Engineers is always functioning at its maximum and providing the highest level of support to our clients. Mark continues to interface directly with clients, particularly in regard to security and regulatory audits, as well as leading large-scale wireless design projects. Mark has been in the technology field for 20 years, with more than 10 years of direct managed services experience. He has worked as a field technician, internal Technology Manager and independent consultant on occasions. Mark is certified ITIL v3 in IT Service Management and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University. When not in the office or keeping up with the ever-changing technology field, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing the bass.
Michael joined LMS in July 2016 as the Director of Business Services to help streamline a wide array of business operations and enhance the client experience. He spent a decade in the financial industry in both Asset Management and Equity/Fixed Income trading. Michael has worked at both Multinational corporations, such as JP Morgan, and small businesses, lending him invaluable experience at both ends of the spectrum. This diverse background contributed to his deep understanding of financial and business management. He attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He enjoys playing golf, skiing, hiking and is an avid Wolverine fan and has been known to yell at the TV during football games.
Greg has been working at LMS for over 10 years and manages our Help Desk, SMC Managed Services and BDR backup platforms. Upon joining LMS in February 2006 Greg was entrusted with ownership’s vision to transform an established traditional break/fix company to a proactive managed services provider. Working with our management and technical teams, Greg played a critical role in the company’s implementation of our new CRM and Managed Services platforms. Prior to joining LMS, Greg was a Help Desk intern for ContextMedia and he had a brief stint as a passenger ships deckhand while living in Honolulu. Greg is an avid car enthusiast and thrill seeker, he has gone sky diving, completed the Tough Mudder endurance event, climbed Mt.Washington, and next plans on cage diving with a great white shark if his wife lets him. Greg holds a BS in Management Information Systems from The University of Tampa.
